West Coast rapper and entrepreneur Snoop Dogg has launched a new online platform, SWED.com, offering a curated selection of cannabis and lifestyle products.  SWED stands for “Smoke Weed Every Day,” a phrase Snoop Dogg popularized and built a brand around.

The platform features:

Hemp-derived THCA flower, which is what we market it as when in fact it is just normal cannabis as we have always known it. Due to a loophole in the 2018 Farm Bill, actual cannabis can be shipped to most states. Here are a list of the states that do not allow cannabis to be shipped:

Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Idaho, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Nevada, Oregon, Rhode Island and South Dakota

Snoop Dogg’s latest venture, an online store featuring hemp-derived THCA products, comes at a time when states like California, Illinois, and New Jersey are implementing stricter regulations on intoxicating hemp products. In September, California Governor Gavin Newsom introduced emergency measures temporarily banning hemp products containing any amount of THC.
