As Delaware’s legalized cannabis market begins to take shape, a diverse range of entrepreneurs are vying for a piece of the burgeoning industry. White Cap Cannabis, a cultivator focused on premium, boutique products, is one such company. Its founder and CEO, Patrick Galloway, was recently selected in a lottery conducted by the Office of the Marijuana Commissioner. HPatrick Galloway: “We’ll be trying to sell everything pre-packaged, pre-branded and pre-labeled as a complete product ready to sell to the retailers,” Galloway said. He added that his family has land available near the Kent – Sussex County border for an operation that would be indoors.
What about the neighbors in the rural area? Galloway said he would try to speak to them “one on one and show them that we’re Sussex County people trying to make something of this.”
I couldn’t find out anything about White Cap Cannabis online, but I do think I briefly chatted with the Founder on Reddit. I’ll be keeping my eye out for any updates.

Orange Kush Cake x Mitten Cake Batter
Stage: Phenotype Selection
Both are well-balanced hybrids. The Orange Kush Cake is a tall plant, whereas Cake Batter is very short. I ran Cake Batter before, and I know it to be a glorious strain for Rosin Extraction. I’ve carried different varieties of Kush Cakes in my shop the last 5 years or so. They have always been a hit. The flowers of Kush Cake tends to have a unique oily texture, and are super fragrant. Kush’s don’t really extract too well in my experience. Too heavy and oily. This is not to say that it can’t be done, but it’s just not going to extract well like an Classic Glue strain for example.
Our first strain release will be available in our shop in a couple months. It will be available “Clone Only” for homegrowers around the same time.
